Forehead / Brow Lift

The effects of aging are most often visibly seen first in the forehead and brow, even among individuals in their thirties. Over time, the skin loses elasticity, and gravity pulls on the skin, producing deep lines in the forehead and a settling of skin between the brow and lash line.

Individuals in this situation can benefit from a forehead lift – a surgical removal of excess skin and tightening of the remaining skin on the forehead.

Patients seeking this procedure are usually between age 40 and 65, though sometimes younger. After this procedure, individuals tend to appear happier and younger, with softened forehead lines and their eyes less hidden and seemingly brighter.

About the Procedure

Medical advancements have been made to this procedure leading to smaller (3/4”) incisions than were once used, resulting in faster healing time and less swelling and bruising. Incisions are made along the hairline and do not necessitate that the hair be cut or shaved.

The procedure is then performed using an endoscope, a tube with a light at one end and a camera at the other. Excess skin is then removed through these incisions, the brow is repositioned and the remaining forehead skin tightened. Occasionally, part of the muscle that produces a furrowed brow may also be removed to create a more youthful appearance.

The forehead/brow lift is performed under twilight anesthesia. Within 5 to 7 days, the patient will appear presentable to resume daily affairs.

Pretrichial Forehead Lift

Individuals with high foreheads but sagging brows are good candidates for the Pretrichial forehead lift. This procedure is minimally invasive, with two small incisions along in the temple region and another along the anterior hairline. This allows for the brow to be elevated without making the forehead higher than it was previously.

EmTone Tighten & Cellulite

EmTone Tighten & Cellulite

Cellulite can be a visible frustration that is hard to deal with. Many women start to notice dimpled skin on their legs and buttocks, but cellulite can appear in other areas as well. Once dimpled skin starts to appear, it can cause self-esteem issues.

You may feel uncomfortable wearing shorts or skirts, meaning cellulite can lessen your quality of life. This condition does not, however, pose any medical danger. EmTone is a device that has been designed to treat cellulite.
